1. Overview & Acceptance of Terms

This website (shebakes.in) is operated by SheBakes ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing our website, placing an order, or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), including our Privacy Policy, Cancellation & Refund Policy, and Shipping & Delivery Policy.

This document is an electronic record published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3(1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. 2. Artisanal Handcrafted Cookies & Food Safety

SheBakes is an artisanal online bakery specialising in freshly baked, 100% eggless (vegetarian) gourmet cookies. Each cookie is handcrafted in small batches using premium ingredients, authentic recipes, real dairy butter, and high-quality chocolate.

• Handmade Variations: Because every cookie is handmade and baked fresh to order, minor natural variations in shape, size, surface cracking, and chocolate chunk distribution may occur. Website photographs represent our products as accurately as possible.
• Allergen Advisory: Our entire cookie range is 100% Eggless / Vegetarian. However, our products contain gluten (wheat flour), dairy products (pure butter, milk solids), and may contain soy or tree nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts, pistachios) or be prepared in a kitchen that handles nuts. Customers with known food allergies must review ingredients carefully before placing an order.
• Shelf Life & Storage: Our cookies contain no chemical preservatives or artificial hardening agents. To maintain optimal freshness, store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme heat. Consume within the recommended shelf-life stated on the packaging.

3. Orders, Pricing & Invoicing

• Pricing: All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery fees are calculated dynamically based on your postal PIN code distance and package weight at checkout.
• Order Confirmation: An order is deemed accepted once digital payment authorization is successful and an automated order confirmation is issued to you via WhatsApp, SMS, or email with a unique Order ID.
• Right to Cancel: SheBakes reserves the right to decline or cancel any order prior to dispatch in situations including product stock exhaustion, pricing errors resulting from technical glitches, or courier unserviceability to the specified PIN code. In any such case, a 100% full refund will be credited to your original payment source immediately.

4. Payment Security & RBI Compliance

We process all customer transactions through authorized, RBI-compliant digital payment aggregators (including Razorpay and Shiprocket Fastrr):

• Supported payment methods include UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, CRED), Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, RuPay), and Netbanking.
• All online transactions are protected by industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance.
• SheBakes never collects, stores, or processes sensitive card details, CVVs, or netbanking passwords on its internal servers.

5. Shipping, Transit & Courier Delivery

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

In accordance with standard food safety practices, perishable food items cannot be physically returned once delivered. However, we provide complete replacement or refund protection for items damaged in transit or defective upon delivery. 7. Intellectual Property Rights

All brand content, trademarks, logos, commercial photographs, recipes, packaging designs, text, graphics, and software code on shebakes.in are the exclusive intellectual property of SheBakes, protected by the Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable Indian intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized reproduction, downloading, copying, modification, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SheBakes shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our services or products. In all circumstances, the total cumulative liability of SheBakes to any customer for any claim arising out of an order shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by the customer for that order.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms, policies, and any contractual relationship between SheBakes and the customer shall be governed by, construed, and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any legal dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the parties agree that the competent courts having jurisdiction in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
